You're so funny DM. I use Y-Modem G on ftelnet with Vertrauen BBS.

And how was I supposed to have guessed that? Anyway, YMODEM-G is a non-error-correcting protocol, so any single error stops the transfer. If fTelnet is having problems uploading large files to Vertrauen, then that's most likely a problem with fTelnet.

Do any of the protocols work properly with ftelnet?

I seem to remember seeing something saying YModem-G is the only file transfer protocol supported by fTelnet.

Indeed. A quick googling reveals this was all discussed with The Millionaire last summer.

Because I don't have a particular interest in that problem and have been busy doing things that benefit more sysops and users of Synchronet.

Hi DM. Will there ever be a Synchronet Cloud System added to the BBS one day? That might benefit for storage reasons.

If a cloud forms in your system, you might need to check your humidity
levels, and it certainly won't benefit your storage.

Hi DM. Will there ever be a Synchronet Cloud System added to the BBS
one day? That might benefit for storage reasons.

Integrating Synchronet into a cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure) is as
simple as using the tools that are provided by the cloud provider. For example, you can leverage EFS and S3 simply by leveraging the
functionality in your operating system. For example, I use S3 for some
storage functionality on my BBS and it remains transparent to
Synchronet. There is no value to adding complexity to Synchronet for
the sake of complexity. If you need EFS, S3, EBS, etc. on AWS, use it.
