I extracted the xtrn directory from sbbs_run.zip into my \sbbs
directory, and while I think I saw some other games in there, I
wasn't sure if I needed to an extra step to add them to SCFG.
I've got the doors working again, but saw some other conversation
about "other games"...I guess under Synchronet games, but I may be
wrong.
In looking at SCFG, all I have are ANSIView, Blackjack, Bubble
Boggle, Chicken Delivery, Dice Wars, Dragon Lance, DrugLord, Fat Fish, Jeopardized!, Kingdom, Lemons, Life, Milliway's Casino, Sea Battle,
Star Trek, Synkroban, Thirstyville, and Uber Blox!

On another note, from the control panel, I saw this error today (it
was not in the error.log file) -- I had used a logoff door on the BBS...
but saw the "font activation failure" as noted below.
6/10 07:30:57p Node 1 <Daryl Stout> Node 1 External program requested hangup (dropped DTR)
6/10 07:30:58p Node 1 <Daryl Stout> hung-up in external program

6/10 07:31:10p Node 1 <Daryl Stout> logout initiated
Is that a serious issue??
Lastly, I did get the latest version of SyncTerm from the sourceforge website...but at times, the "funky prompt display" is on the far left
of it. But, it does NOT show up from echicken's web interface (Connect
Via Telnet). But, otherwise, everything looks fine.
Yes, you'd have to install then. Either read the various sysop instructions in each of those xtrn/* directories or run
"install-xtrn.js" (e.g. with ;exec or jsexec).
Is that a serious issue??
No. You hungup is all.
I'm not sure what you're talking about here.
There's a new script in the 'exec' directory called 'xtrn-setup.js'. I think you can run it, as sysop, from most command shells with:
;exec ?xtrn-setup
It won't let you set up *every* game, but many of them are now
compatible with this script, which simplifies the setup process.

echicken directed me to a script for it, so I ran it, and it did the trick.

No. You hungup is all.
OK, that's fine. As Ernestine, the telephone operator (Lily Tomlin), noted in her skits "We all have our hangups in life" <snort!> <G>
I'm not sure what you're talking about here.
On the bottom line, where the prompt is, telling you how much time you have left, plus the current message or file area you're in...in SyncTerm (the version I have is 1.1 rc4-win32, that I downloaded from sourceforge), there seem to be some strange characters on the display on either side of the time. But, when I logon via the website interface that echicken did,
it shows up fine. I figure it's either a font issue, or the display resolution. None of the rest of the display is affected.
Those are 2 extended ASCII (CP437) characters. 251 if I remember correctly. Anyway, they normally display fine. If you use that same terminal program and logon to a different Synchronet BBS (say, vert.synchro.net) do they also look "strange"?

Yeah, I saw that...but for some reason, this message was originally
sent over 2 months ago, and I'm getting it now, as if it re-tossed.
