• Moving message and file locations

I'm working on moving my BBS from Windows to Linux, and in the process
I'd like to move my messages and files areas out of /sbbs/data into
their own directories to make backing up and restoring a little
    easier.

Would it be possible to change the file locations in the .cnf files
using search and replace with a text editor, or would that break
    things?

... If it isn't broken, I can fix it.

You can't edit the .cnf files directly, but you could export to subs.txt, edit the subs.txt file with a text editor, and then re-import that file into SCFG.

    Good idea - thanks!
