Yes, that is correct.

I don't think users normally want that behavior, so it's not something supported natively in Synchronet. However, it would be possible for you or any other sysop to write their own file searching/display mod (see exec/filelist.js for an example/starting point).

Running a larger bbs with over 170,000 files it's a tool that makes it easer for the sysop to search and move files to the proper file areas.

what you want sounds like something only you want, so it's best to perhaps pay someone to write a script for you.

I don't the amount of files is really relevant to whether I think it's appropriate to *not* show someone the text they searched for and was found, but like I said, you can request the feature on gitlab.synchro.net.
