Many node operators have created a prefix for EchoLink but no prefix
for IRLP.
That's the most common scenarip. IRLP usually has no prefix, unless the node owner has a specific reason to use one. Echolink frequently has "#" or "*" as its prefix - something short and simple. But any combination is possible.
In the custom_decode script, use "P" to represent "#" and "S" to represent "*".
.... Cut my pizza into six pieces please. I can't eat eight.
