Just wanted to invite all that have D-Star to visit REF 55D on Weds evenings at
8:30pm Central (01:30 Thurs UTC). If you haven't had a chance to do picture exchanges, this is a fun net to try out. Stop by!

Just curious, how are you transferring the pictures?

    Thanks for the note...

I use an app on my iPhone called ST-4001l that is available for free in the App
store. You do a search for Icom and it comes up. I have the Icom IC-705. I pick a picture on my phone and send it to the radio via WIFI. You just have to
make sure that the phone and radio are connected to the same network. Once you hit send on the phone, a message comes up on the radio asking to accept the
picture. Then, once it's on there, it's relatively easy to figure out. You put the radio into picture mode and select the photo you want to send....then hit TX ALL. That's about it! If you need help, stop by REF 55D before the net
and I, or someone else will gladly help you out!

Hmm interesting, though sounds highly radio specific. I don't have a 705, just a 91AD and ID-5100. Just looked it up, not gonna fly for me. :(

... Am I any closer to finding what I'm looking for?

    :(

Oh well. We have someone that signs in from down your way. I actually don't have much luck with the receiving side from most of the other stations (I think
it's my WIFI). SSTV works better for me! Do you ever get to try that out? It's not radio specific and been around a LONG time.

Yeah, I have done SSTV a number of times on HF and VHF. Fun mode! :)
