• NBEMS Nets to check out

From n2qfd@432:1/100 to All on Tue Sep 10 20:57:02 2024
This came across the NYS RACES group and I thought it might be worth a share.

Narrow Band Emergency Message Service(?) it's using the FLDigi software (shareware) to decode/send sound card generated digital mode radio.

I know it's not for everyone and I also check into CW NTS nets, but machine to machine communication is the best way to reduce errors and increase throughput of traffic.

    NH-Digital Saturdays 7:00 ET on 3582 kHz
    NY-NBEMS Saturdays 8:00 ET on 3583 kHz
    PA-NBEMS Sundays 7:30 ET on 3583 kHz
    NJ-NBEMS Sundays 9:00 ET on 3582 kHz alt. 7086.5
Mid Atlantic Digital COm WorkShop Sundays 10:00 ET on 7.068
    US-East Wednesdays 1900 ET on 3.536, alt. 7036, mfsk16
    VT-NBEMS Thursdays 19:30 ET on 3570 kHz
    NNY D.T.N. 2nd Monday 20:00 ET on 3582 or 3583

(Don't worry about mode just keep your RxID on, although most use Thor22) (Don't worry about offset, everybody uses 1500 Hz)
