This is a great event, but unfortunately for me, it's not a good time of year. In a normal year, track season is starting, and I'm in sprint
mode. This year is even worse, because I have the Police and Emergency Services Games at the end of October. My training will be mainly speed
and speed endurance, which is high intensity, low volume, and the
opposite to racking up the kms. And in the last week, I will be
tapering down as well.
And I have to put my focus on the games, as I am being supported to go
there and represent CFA - I am currently state champion in my sprint
events. :)
