That's a few. At least you would be able to take part in the "ailment nets" that seem to pop up (often on 2m repeaters or 80m). Sports
injuries don't seem to have quite the same impact there. ;)

They are having fun with the "virus nets"...even some dancing girls called "The Virusettes". <G>

Arkansas had a second peak last week...likely because more folks are being tested. I get tested on June 1, in preparation for hernia surgery
on June 4.
We don't have any of those, but we do have the isolation net, which is
a good way to keep in touch every day. :)
We're down to very low numbers, but the BLM protests may affect that
over the next few weeks. :/

I've been off the air because of surgery last week, and am finishing
up work before Cristobal gets here today.

Never mind the summer holidays (at least in this part of the world).
I've done some major work on my remote base/EchoIRLP node. It's performing much better, and I've added extra SDR input frequencies and
the ability to have remote radios to the system. I'm getting up to a couple of miles on 6m, and that's with a makeshift antenna that's way
too short, no groundplane and sitting right next to the PCs! :) I'll
have to hook it up to a proper 6m antenna and test. :)

I've wondered if there's a USB adapter for an Ethernet cable
connection. The Lenovo Windows 10 64-bit laptop, only has 2 USB ports,
an HDMI port for a monitor, and connects to the internet via Wi-Fi. Echolink doesn't like that, unless you're possibly using a proxy
server. So, for now, I had to put Echolink on the same computer as the BBS...but all the rest of the ham radio stuff is on the Lenovo laptop.

We're told to practice social distancing due to COVID19, but you saw none of that with the protests.

Sounds like you have a port forwarding issue, possibly "double NAT" if
you have a wifi router and a DSL modem. connected together. This is

While not perfect, they at least made an attempt to wear masks and the organisers provided masks and hand sanitiser.

I tried the port forwarding deal with the location on the laptop, and Echolink couldn't link up.
I'll require masks when I restart ham radio license exams in the fall...and will provide gloves to the VE's. I do have hand sanitizer,
so I can bring some of that.

I couldn't pick it up locally. Folks are stealing stuff out of
mailboxes and off of front porches.
Well a special cable I found on Amazon should take care of the
problem.
I quipped "with the mask and gloves, all I need is some of that

It's supposed to be in next Wednesday at the Post Office Box, where
I have stuff shipped when I order from Amazon...and I'm supposed to
see the female hernia surgeon for a followup...plus get bloodwork
prior to the next Low-T treatment.
I think that next time, instead of getting them in the butt cheek,
I'll have them done in the abdomen above the groin. For several weeks after that last one, it was like someone was stabbing me in the hip,
as I got in and out of the car. My butt cheek was so bruised, that
it looked like some woman had spanked the dickens out of me (I might
have enjoyed it more...remember, dirty old Sysops need love, too <G>).
For males, though...not taking care of low testosterone can lead to,
or aggravate cardiovascular and diabetes issues...like we needed
something else to worry about.
I'm not, err, touching that one. ;)
Let's put it this way...as uncomfortable as the dual COVID19 nasal
swabs were, I'd rather get a prostate check with the doctors finger
being swollen.
Or like the cartoon where a guy is sitting on the exam table, with a C-Clamp around his waist and hips, holding his butt cheeks together.
The doctor notes "Patient is rather reluctant to have his prostate checked". When I showed to my urologist (who has since retired), I
thought he'd pee his pants, or die laughing. <BG>

Ouch. I'be read about more "natural" ways to increase T - create conditions that makes the body produce more. And from what I've read, it's surprising how many men have low T levels.
Yeah, you don't need those. I've never had my levels tested, but I
highly doubt they're low.

Well, that's not enough of an enticement to move. <G>
Wednesday is the "good day" for errands...as I don't have to run or check into a ham radio net that night...except for a laid back
roundtable net on Echolink on the third Wednesday.

Well, I got suspicious, as I was having many of the symptoms. But,
the insurance company doesn't pay for it, unless you've had 2
consecutive blood work levels that show it as "low".

Where's your sense of adventure?? <bseg>
Well, I don't know what you get up to, so.... :D
From what I understand, if the finger "does it right" with the
prostate check, it can cause a man to ejaculate. The problem is after that, the man gets very sleepy.
Well, that's not enough of an enticement to move. <G>
Haha. :P
Wednesday is one of my errands days too. :)

Quite true. Well, I know for sure that I don't have diabetes, I get tested regularly as part of my annual checkup. :)
Here, I'd just claim on Medicare and get at least 85% back. These
days, the doctor's office processes the claim and it's refunded within
24 hours. And in some cases, "bulk billing" is available, where
there's no up front payment. Mostly for people on benefits these days,
but I have occasionally been bulk billed by the doctor, which is really nice.
I'm not, err, touching that one. ;)

Totally different here. The BLM protesters in the cities were very peaceful and only occupied the streets for a few hours. They stuck to their message, did their best at distancing (with sanitiser and face

The surgery went rather well, thank you very much.
They did slice me in 4 places (it was laparoscopic), and I've
been wearing a binder/girdle for support. The pain has been
relatively minor, with only needing Ibuprofen and Tylenol to
take care of it.
I saw the surgeon yesterday for a follow-up, and she was
very pleased with my recovery.
