• Network outage

From Vk3jed@432:1/101 to All on Wed Feb 16 22:20:00 2022
Had a few days offline since the weekend. Finally had a chance to investigate today, and the issue wasn't the SD card that I thought it might be (but I took a backup while I had the opportunity - only some minor script changes since the previous one).

Anyway, after the SD card, SSD and Banana Pi all checked out, I can only conclude that the issue was the network cable has been nibbled on by a mouse (I fed it Ratsak :D ). Given running a fresh cable is a fair bit of work for only possibly a few months use (assuming something doesn't have another nibble), I'm currently running the BBS on the test bench, but have replaced the network cable with a wireless client bridge, which should be rodent proof. ;) I will move the BBS machine back to its usual location (it has other functions) sometime in the next 24 hours. That will generate only a brief 5 minute
    utage.

Apologies for any inconvenience. Normal service has been resumed. :)

Move is complete, back up and running in position.
